SOS Community Services (www.soscs.org)

SOS Community Services in Ypsilanti started out 40 years ago in 1970 as a small, grassroots effort by local college students to serve their peers during times of crisis. Last year, 4,719 different people received food, crisis help, and a place to call home because of SOS. For the last 40 years, SOS volunteers and staff have been a lifeline to tens of thousands of homeless families in our community.
