2013-02-10: Oratorical Festival Guest Speaker

Our Parish Oratorical Festival is approaching fast: Sunday, March 17th, 2013.

The Church School has invited Ms. Artemis Alex to be our guest speaker at the the upcoming GOYA meeting this Sunday, February 10th, 2013, and speak about developing a speech for the Oratorical Festival.

Ms. Alex has served as an Oratorical Festival judge and is a retired Ypsilanti High School teacher. She taught ACT with Writing Preparation Courses and Business Classes for many years. Ms. Alex will emphasize both the written aspects of the Oratorical Festival as well as review presentation skills with the students.

Bible Study this Sunday will begin at 4 p.m. A brief GOYA meeting follows at 5:00, along with dinner, ice cream dessert, and then the presentation.

Students may bring any materials they may have with them Sunday - and if so be it - their enthusiasm!

We would appreciate a good turn out for Ms. Alex.

Parents are also welcome to attend.

We also welcome 6th Grade students and families.
