Our parish-level Oratorical Festival is approaching fast: Essays are due Sunday, March 1, 2015.

To prepare our students in Grades 6-12, our Church School invited Ms. Artemis Alex to be our guest speaker today, Sunday, February 8th, 2015, and make a presentation about developing a speech for the Oratorical Festival.

The event was a smashing success. The conference room was packed and student response was outstanding.

In her presentation, Ms. Alex emphasized both the written aspects of the Oratorical Festival and reviewed presentation skills with the students. Ms. Alex also wrote and distributed handouts about developing Oratorical Festival skills.

On behalf of our entire Church School, we would like to recognize and thank Ms. Alex for serving as our Church School Oratorical Festival guest speaker for several years now. Ms. Alex has brought genuine enthusiasm and has offered excellent advice to our students as they prepare their speeches for the Oratorical Festival.
